Through Kish’s high school student programs, you can graduate faster, prepare for regionally relevant careers and make connections with area employers before you graduate. Check out the exciting opportunities available to you at Kish!

2 Degrees in 3 Years

For students who want to make the most of their time in high school, we offer the 2 Degrees in 3 Years program. You can earn both an associate degree and a bachelor’s degree in just three years after graduating high school by optimizing your coursework in your junior and senior years of high school. Kishwaukee College offers several different ways to do so. Whether it is through Dual Credit/KEC, Dual Enrollment, the Engineering-Math-Science Academy (EMSA), or transferring in credit through the Advanced Placement Exam, read more to find a good option for you!

Dual credit

Dual credit provides local high school students with the opportunity to earn college credit from Kish while in high school. Programs include KEC, Dual Enrollment, EMSA and dual credit classes at local high schools.

TRIO Upward Bound

Kish's TRIO Upward Bound program works with students at DeKalb High School and provides the support, motivation and academic preparation necessary to go to college. This is a federally funded program.
