State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA)

Earn an Associate in Arts degree from the comfort of home. Kishwaukee College offers online degree programs for out-of-state students at the same tuition rate for in-district students. 

Kish has been approved to participate in State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (SARA) and offer distance education coursework to students residing outside of Illinois. SARA institutions agree to abide by SARA’s standards regarding distance education and the resolution of student complaints. SARA institutions report to the organization the number of out-of-state students enrolled in distance education courses and complaints filed by out-of-state students.

Professional Licensure Disclosure

Kishwaukee College academic programs are designed to prepare students to apply for licensure or certification in Illinois. Completion of a Kishwaukee College program may not meet educational requirements for licensure or certification in a state other than Illinois.

Student Complaint Process

Kishwaukee College is committed to providing an equitable system for resolving conflicts between students and faculty or staff members. The College encourages students to exhaust all possible complaint resolutions through the student complaint procedure. Students residing out-of-state can file a complaint with their appropriate state agency or the Illinois Community College Board.
