Kishwaukee College will hold the 50th anniversary closing reception on Tuesday, December 11 from 4:00 – 5:00 pm in the Kishwaukee College Art Gallery on campus. The event will bring to close a yearlong celebration of the College’s 50th Anniversary. The event will be held in conjunction with the closing reception of Faces of Kish, a gallery show featuring portraits of the Kish College community created by Miles Halpern, Assistant Professor of Art at Kish.

“I wanted to do something to bring people together, show their worth, our individuality and commonality. The event will feature the Faces of Kish art exhibition, appetizers, and a short program including closing the 50th anniversary time capsule. The time capsule will be filled with student, faculty, and staff thoughts on life in 2018 or what Kish will be like in 25 years. The capsule will remain closed until the College’s 75th anniversary in 2043.
