The Adult Education department offers classes, programs and services to assist community members 16 years of age and older to improve their basic skills in reading, writing and/or mathematics; prepare for the High School Equivalency credential; or, for non-native speakers, to learn to read, write and speak English with increasing fluency. Those students 16 and 17 years of age must provide a letter of separation from high school upon entry to GED preparation classes.
