Eligible employees receive paid holidays throughout the year including:

Employee Wellness & Support
Employee wellness and support resources are available to promote overall well-being, including programs and services that support physical health, mental health, and family needs.
We offer a confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to support the personal and professional well-being of employees and their immediate family members.
The EAP provides free, short-term counseling and support services through licensed professional counselors. Employees and eligible family members may receive up to three visits per incident per fiscal year.
Services available through the program include:
- Mental health counseling
- Life coaching
- Financial consultation
- Legal consultation
- Life management support
- Personal assistant services
- Medical advocacy
The program is designed to help employees address personal concerns early and connect with appropriate community resources when additional support is needed.
Employees have access to a variety of discounts and special offers available through partner programs.

Employees enrolled in BlueCross BlueShield health plans have access to additional wellness tools and services designed to support overall health.
Available resources include:
- 24/7 Nurse Help Line for medical guidance and support

- Blue365 discounts offering savings on health products, fitness memberships and wellness services

Tuition Waivers & Reimbursement
Kishwaukee College offers tuition waiver and reimbursement programs to support continued
education for eligible employees and their families.
Tuition Waivers
Eligible employees, spouses and dependent children under age 25 may enroll in Kishwaukee
College credit courses through the tuition waiver program.
Tuition Reimbursement
Employees may be eligible for reimbursement for coursework completed at other accredited
institutions according to Board policy or applicable collective bargaining agreements.
