CTE Through the Kishwaukee Education Consortium (KEC)
The Kishwaukee Education Consortium (KEC) partners with Kishwaukee College to provide occupational dual credit opportunities for students from five local high schools: DeKalb, Genoa-Kingston, Hiawatha, Rochelle Township, and Sycamore.
KEC courses allow students to begin a career or technical pathway while earning college credit. Many students who start in KEC programs continue at Kish to complete an Associate in Applied Science degree and enter the workforce with industry-recognized credentials.
To enroll, students register with their home high school for the KEC.
