Interested in WIOA Services? Get started by filling out the initial application, the option of submitting the application electronically is now available! The completed, printed and signed application can be submitted by emailing Nicole Speizio-De Paz at nspeizio-depaz@kish.edu.  After the application has been submitted, you will receive an email stating that it has been received and you can expect to hear from staff within the next 2-3 business days to plan your in person intake appointment.
 
If you are in need of immediate Career Service assistance, please email Aaron Briggs at Abriggs2@kish.edu or Linda Kocjan at Lkocjan@kish.edu to receive remote assistance with this. 
 
Please note, there are currently no Unemployment Offices in DeKalb County, if you are in need of applying for Unemployment please visit www.ides.il.us, call 1-800-224-5631 or call your local Unemployment Office, such as the North Aurora or the Rockford Office."

The DeKalb Workforce Development Office works closely with WIOA core partners, such as Adult Education, Vocational Rehabilitation, Illinois Department of Employment Security, Perkins Postsecondary Education and the Kishwaukee College Career Services.

Although it is preferred that anyone interested in the WIOA program visits the office to fill out the initial application, if you are unable to visit the office, the option of submitting the application electronically is now available. The completed, printed and signed application can be submitted the following ways: Dropped off at 650 North Peace Rd. DeKalb IL, 60115 or emailed to nspeizio-depaz@kish.edu.  After the application has been submitted, you will receive an email stating that it has been received and you can expect to hear from staff within the next 2-3 business days to plan your in person intake appointment.
