How to Pay
Kish offers several convenient ways to make tuition payments. Choose the method that works best for you.
You can pay your tuition using any of these options:
- Online Payments: Pay by credit or debit card through myKish.
- Automatic Bank Payment (ACH): Transfer payments directly from your bank.
- In-Person Payments: Accepted at the Business Office.
- Third-Party Payments: If an outside organization is paying, contact the Business Office for instructions.
Refund Information
Refund eligibility depends on your course type and when you drop a class. Review the policies below to understand how refunds work.
You can receive a 100% refund if you drop a class within the first 12% of the course. Exact drop deadlines for each class are listed on the Important Dates & Deadlines page. Refunds are issued only after you drop the class in myKish or in person.
Refunds may be:
-
applied to other classes in the same semester, or
-
returned to your card/bank within three weeks
Classes canceled by the College are fully refunded. Refunds are not issued if you are withdrawn for misconduct or attendance issues. (Non-credit classes follow a separate policy.)
If you used financial aid, your refund will be returned to the aid programs that paid your charges. Students who withdraw from all classes before 60% of the term may owe back a portion of their aid—contact Financial Aid for details.
Attendance Note: You must participate in your class during the refund period. Students who do not attend may be dropped and still charged. Logging into an online class alone does not count as attendance.
No refunds are issued after the first class session unless otherwise specified in the class listing. A full refund will be granted for classes canceled by Kishwaukee College.
Account & Payment Policies
Review these important policies related to past-due balances, returned payments, and account holds.
Past-Due Balances
If you have an unpaid balance, your account will be placed on a financial hold, which prevents you from enrolling in future classes. Unpaid accounts may be sent
to a collection agency.
Students who want to continue taking classes should contact their assigned academic advisor for next steps.
Kish does not hold transcripts or diplomas for students with a past-due balance.
Nonsufficient Funds
For any payment that is returned for any reason, you will be sent a notification informing
you of the amount due and how to pay. A returned charge of $25 will be applied to
your account.
ATM / Financial Holds
Your account may be temporarily restricted if payments have not been resolved. Contact
the Business Office for assistance.
