  • Flexible payment options

How Payments Work

Learn how payment plan installments are processed and what options you have for making payments.

You can make your payment plan installments in two convenient ways:

  • Automatic Bank Payment (ACH): Payments are pulled directly from your bank account each month.
  • Credit or Debit Card: A 2.85% fee is charged on all credit and debit card transactions.

Additional details:

  • Payments are processed monthly on the 1st.
  • Payments continue until your balance is paid in full.
  • Be sure to review term tuition due dates on the Important Dates & Deadlines page.

Plan Costs

Before you enroll, review the costs and minimum requirements for using the payment plan.

Accordion body copy:

  • Enrollment fee: $0 — Kish covers the $25 enrollment fee.

  • Returned payment fee: $30 for each returned or failed payment.

  • Minimum balance: A minimum balance of $100 is required to use the payment plan.

Only enroll in a payment plan if you are confident you can meet the monthly payment obligations.

Important Notes

Review these important details to avoid surprises while using the payment plan.

Availability of the online payment system (e-Cashier) is determined by Kishwaukee College. The College may temporarily pause access during certain times in registration or for system maintenance.

If you cannot access the payment plan when expected, check back later or contact the Business Office for assistance.

If you add or drop classes or receive financial aid, your payment plan may not automatically adjust to your new balance.

You should:

  • Review your agreement balance in Self-Service or myKish

  • Contact the Business Office if the balance shown does not match your expectations

This helps ensure you don’t overpay or underpay based on changes to your schedule or aid.
