Welcome to the Fall 2023 Kishwaukee College Juried Student Art Exhibition. This event
invites Kishwaukee College student artists to display their original artwork in a
professional gallery setting.
Eligibility
The Kishwaukee College Art Gallery invites all currently enrolled Kish students to
participate in the exhibition. All fine art, design, craft, installation, and digital
media artworks are eligible for submission. An outside juror will make the final selections
for the exhibition and determine awards for outstanding works.
Important Dates
Submission drop-off dates: Monday, Nov. 27, through 12:30 pm Thursday, Nov. 30, at
the Office of Instruction, B1301
Exhibition dates: Dec. 4, 2023-Jan. 25, 2024
Opening Reception: 11 am-12:30 pm Monday, Dec. 4
Entry Criteria
2D pieces must be ready to hang
3D pieces must fit through the gallery doors
Presentation is important. Consider mounting, framing, matting, etc.
Drop off the artwork at the Office of Instruction by 12:30 pm Thursday, Nov. 30, with appropriate paperwork and display instructions
if applicable.
Paperwork for artwork may be picked up at the Office of Instruction and filled out
to go with submission. Students must sign and submit the completed exhibition contract, and cut-out and attach labels to the backside/underneath submissions to identify
each art submission.
The Kishwaukee College Foundation has announced the creation of a new scholarship fund honoring the memory of 1998 nursing graduate, Cheryl Safford-Sawallisch. The scholarship provides support to Kishwaukee College nursing students, with preference given to single parents, those on a single income or those with low income.
Kishwaukee College is currently accepting nominations for the 2026 Impact Awards. The annual program recognizes Kish employees who exemplify the College’s mission and values through outstanding performance, service and dedication.
