Kish College hosts hands-on demonstration by floral expert
Kishwaukee College Horticulture students learned about that tatami floral design technique during a hands-on demonstration provided by guest instructor William (Bill) McKinley. The demonstration was part of the Artist in Residence (AIR) program offered by the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD).
The Kamelian is Kishwaukee College's award-winning Literary and Arts Journal, which
showcases the best creative efforts of students at Kishwaukee College. The Kamelian
has been published every spring since 1968. Kamelian has won three awards in the Community
College Humanities Association National Literary Magazine Competition since 2000.
Submissions are accepted at the end of the fall semester and the beginning of the
Spring semester. Entries of short stories, poems, essays, 2D art, 3D art and photos
are all accepted, according to submission guidelines.
